Key Responsibilities
• Manage and monitor waste management contractors across site operations
• Monitor contractor KPIs, SLAs, manpower, certifications and performance
• Oversee incineration plant operations, maintenance and technical integrity
• Assess combustion systems, burners, refractory linings, fuel trains, draft fans and instrumentation
• Review breakdowns, contractor diagnoses, root causes and corrective actions
• Supervise composting operations, including feedstock, moisture, temperature, aeration and curing
• Coordinate segregation and traceability of organic, mixed, metal, construction and hazardous waste
• Ensure compliant waste classification, storage, treatment and final disposal
• Maintain waste manifests, weighing records, certificates and hazardous waste inventories
• Monitor emissions and ensure compliance with environmental permit limits
• Lead and supervise Waste Management Officers across assigned zones
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly waste and environmental reports
• Support internal, client, regulatory and certification audits
• Enforce PTW, LOTO, Hot Work, Confined Space and Working at Height requirements
• Lead toolbox talks, risk assessments and incident investigations
• Participate in emergency response activities and drills
🔹 Requirements
✅ Bachelors Degree / Higher Diploma in Mechanical, Process, Chemical or Environmental Engineering
✅ Extensive experience in waste management operations, preferably within LNG, Oil amp; Gas or large industrial facilities
✅ Strong technical knowledge of incineration systems and waste treatment processes
✅ Experience with composting and organic waste management
✅ Knowledge of hazardous and non-hazardous waste classification, handling and disposal
✅ Strong contractor management and KPI/SLA experience
✅ Experience with environmental permits, emissions monitoring and regulatory compliance
✅ Strong understanding of waste traceability and environmental documentation
